ALL YOU CAN EAT FISH & CHIPS OR SHRIMP & CHIPS – HESSEN HAUS
Choose between All You Can Eat Fish and Chips, Shrimp and Chips, or a combination of both. Available on Ash Wednesday and every Friday during Lent for $18.
Additional Lent features available every day during Lent:
- Haus Bier Battered Fish n’ Chips – Three pieces of Atlantic Cod in our Haus made Bier batter. Served with lemon, tartar sauce and fries.
- Haus Fish Tacos – Two Bier Battered Atlantic Cod tacos fried to perfection served in warm flour tortillas over Red cabbage. Topped off with our signature Haus Spicy Aioli and cilantro. Served with choice of side.
- Haus Shrimp Tacos – Two tender buttermilk breaded shrimp tacos served on warm flour tortillas over red cabbage. Topped off with our signature Haus Spicy Aiol, and cilantro. Served with choice of side.
- Crab Cakes – Four Jumbo lump crab cakes fried to perfection served with our signature Haus Spicy aioli.

Fish and Chips Punch Card – make sure to ask your server for our Fish & Chip punch card so you can buy five orders and enjoy your sixth order for FREE! Available only during Lent.
SPECIALTY LENT ITEMS – available every day during Lent
- Spicy Lobster Egg Rolls – Lobster, cream cheese, and jalapeños. Served with sweet chili sauce.
- Coconut-Breaded – Butterfly Shrimp Butterflied shrimp coated with shredded coconut. Served with sweet chili sauce.
- Aged White Cheddar and Cauliflower Bisque (Gluten Free) – Tender cauliflower blended with aged white cheddar, cream, onions, and roasted garlic.
- Fish & Chips – A generous portion of fried pollock and chips. Served with tartar sauce and lemon.
- Pesto Tortellini (Gluten Free) – Four cheese-stuffed tortellini in a basil pesto sauce. • Add grilled chicken or 6 oz. grilled salmon
- Macaroni Pie – Our house-made mac & cheese baked in pastry and topped with even more cheese.

Buzzard Billy’s features over 30 seafood dishes on their regular menu, so there are nearly endless menu options to enjoy this Lent! Some favorites include the Shrimp Gabrielle, Crawfish Platter, Seafood Jambalaya, Blackened Tilapia, Catfish Po’boy, Shrimp Fettuccine Alfredeaux, and Lobster Mac and Cheese.

Celebrate Lent and Mardi Gras with Fong’s Pizza’s monthly pizza special – the Blackened Bayou Blaze Pizza!
Blackened Bayou Blaze Pizza – Creamy Cajun Alfredo, blackened shrimp, layered shredded mozzarella & red onion, roasted red peppers, and green peppers. Finished with a silky aioli drizzle and baked on a buttery Cajun-seasoned crust.
Bang Bang Shrimp – Crispy coconut shrimp tossed on a sweet and spicy bang bang sauce.
Cajun Shrimp – Blackened shrimp, peppadew peppers, tomato, onions, green beans & garlic sautéed in a spicy cajun butter over served over rice.

Enjoy these Lenten Menu items available every day during Lent!
- Nashville Catfish Basket – Southern style catfish fried and tossed in our famous sweet and spicy Nashville hot sauce.
- Crab Cakes – Three parmesan-crusted savory cakes fried golden brown, served on cabbage, and drizzled with our sweet chili and bang bang sauces.
- Cajun Shrimp and Grits – Homemade cheesy grits with a blend of gouda, cheddar, and parmesan. Topped with cajun shrimp and green onion. Served with toasted bread.
- Fish Tacos – Two flour tortillas filled with cabbage and beer-battered fried cod. Topped with bang bang sauce and tartar sauce. Served with rice.
- Filet O’Rilla Sandwich – Fried fish filet served on a brioche bun with lettuce and pickle with fries and a side of tartar sauce.
- Fish & Chips – Three beer-battered pieces of tender cod. Served with coleslaw, fries, and a side of tartar sauce.
LENT PIZZA OF THE MONTH – TRUMAN’S TAVERN
Shrimpin’ Ain’t Easy – Available from the beginning of February through Easter Sunday – Shrimpin’ Ain’t Easy Pizza – Grilled chili-lime marinated shrimp over a sweet chili cream cheese base and then covered with mozzarella and pepper jack. Baked and then topped with fire-roasted corn salsa, Parmesan, cilantro, tajin, and citrus. Finished with a sriracha sour cream drizzle.
FISH FRYDAY – THE EMPIRE
Available on Fridays during Lent:
- Fish Sandwich – Breaded fish fried golden with American cheese and tartar sauce on a toasted bun.
- Cowboy Fish Sandwich – Breaded fish fried golden with pepper-jack cheese, candied jalapeños, and kick’d up tartar sauce on a toasted bun.
